How to post on the Visual WebGui forums

Overview

This article is a walkthrough on the steps required to create a new thread on the VisualWebGui.com forums.

The Steps

Step 1 - Logging in

Surf to the www.VisualWebGui.com website and click on the "Login" link on the top of the page.

Login to the website



You will be transferred to the log-in page.
Here if you have a user account on the website, you can enter your user-name and password in the designated fields and click on the "Login" button.
If you do not have a user account, you can create one, completing a quick registration, by clicking on the "Register" link and and filling out a small form.

Step 2 - Moving to the "Developers" section

Click on the "Developers" menu item to go to the developers' section.

Step 3 - Moving to the "Forums" sub-section

Click on the "Forums" sub-menu item to go to view the forums page.

Step 4 - Opening a specific forum

In this page, you can see the various forum that are available.
You need to open the forum that is the most relevant to the subject on which you want to post.

Step 5 - Open the new-thread creation form

Click on the "New Thread", button on above the current threads listing.

Step 6 - Create your new thread

  • Here you need to type in your new thread's title, in the "Subject" that will describe the thread in the thread listings.
  • Then you need to fill in the content of the first post on the thread in the rich text box.
  • If you wish to receive e-mail notifications to your registered e-mail, when a different user replies to your post, check the "Notification" checkbox.
  • You can also set the thread-status by selecting a specific item from the Thread Status combo-box.
  • To complete the process, click on the "Submit" link on the bottom of the page.
